We have several teams in our Finance department, majority of which take part in financial and management accounting. You can choose between 1-man teams up to team having 8 team members. Most of the teams enjoy flexible working hours (6 am - 9.30 am starting time).

The daily job in our teams is quite diverse. It is about accounting, analyses & investigation, reporting and forecasting. You will solve more complex tasks with lots of challenges across business units. You can learn a lot about different ERP systems, accounting and tax legislation requirements in different countries and master your advanced excel and analytical skills. We play substantial role in change from SSC to Centre of Excellence. As a Centre of Excellence, we will provide advisory, guidance, best practices and support to the end markets. What will be your responsibility?

• Creation of Periodic Cost centre reports including the management of accruals and prepayments and also ensuring that the impact on budget and STF targets are fully understood and communicated

• Reconciliation of Payroll, Central Overheads and Insurance Balance Sheet accounts as required

• Completing the Dixons Central Costs management accounts in an accurate and timely manner including posting prepayments and accruals as necessary

• Recording the costs of insurance claims accurately and managing the balance sheet provision accordingly

• Providing analytical review of the above to enable assessment of risks and opportunities

• Supporting the Head of Finance – Central Costs by providing monthly P&L and balance sheet outlooks including risks and opportunities

• Meeting regularly with budget holders to discuss performance

• Cooperating with the FP&A team to provide ad-hoc analysis as requested

• Work with HR to ensure the cost forecast reflects latest organisation design

• You have good communication skills in English both oral and written

• Financial analysis experience

• Good accounting skills with an eye for detail and accuracy

• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel

• Strong systems and process competencies

• Motivated self-starter

• Can work to deadlines, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure

• Desirable is also accounting qualification, project accounting skills and previous experience with SAP
